Les Garrett was the lead leasing advocate for the design and transformation of the old Padre Staples Mall rebranded as La Palmera. Les led the strategic leasing vision of this $51 million redevelopment including new open air lifestyle restaurant court, relocated and repositioned food court, new vertical transportation, and over 70 new and remodeled shops and restaurants.
Les Garrett led the strategic leasing effort on this 1.1 million square foot department store anchored mixed-use lifestyle center. Pearland competed heavily with another nationally recognized lifestyle center development and prevailed with Greater Houston’s first open-air department store anchored center combining hotel, office, and residential space over the retail space. The property achieved an 85% lease and committed spaces at the Grand Opening.
